Boutique red wine fans will be delighted with this delicously quaffable 2009 Chateau Caillou Les Martins. Hailing from an eight hectare vinyard owned by Jean-Francois Carrille and located on the north east side of the St Emilion appellation, this area is famed for its Merlot Vinyards.
The Limestone and Ferrunginous clay in which the vines are planted gives this area’s wine it’s unique flavour and quality. Most are around 20 years old and the wine is aged for around 18 months. Plumy and fruity on the palette, this is a great drop for fans of quality red wines. Drink from 2013 – 2016
